The first time I took a Yoga Nidra class, it was such an amazing experience of relaxation, that I wanted to be able to share that experience with others. My teacher Yogi Charu always referred to it as the art of chilaxing.

I have a 50hr Yoga Nidra Teacher Training and I offer it in my classes as well as in private classes.

Sound Meditation [Nada Yoga]

As the word implies, is a guided meditation using sound. In particular the singing bowls and the Buffalo drum.
When you combine sound and yoga, this is known as Nada Yoga, which focuses on using sound and its vibration to reach a state of meditation.

Everything in nature emits a sound and our body benefits from some of those sounds. In my group classes sound is used for relaxation and meditation. 

Vedic Meditation [mantra based]

There are many forms of meditation, Primordial Sound Meditation is a meditation technique that uses a personalized mantra. It is based on a 5,000 year old Vedic tradition. These primordial sounds are based on the vibration the universe was creating at the moment of your birth.
