Pink Umbrella and Red Shoes
Pink Umbrella and Red Shoes Rainy morning, all dressed in black. I prepared myself to go to a much needed massage session. As I look for my shoes, I pick my red Toms, since they are good in the water; grab my umbrella and step outside. As I start walking, I pass a shop, where I can see my own reflection. Put a little Love in your Heart
Yesterday I took a yoga class from a teacher and friend, Yara. She likes to add poses that have a lot of twists and chest opening, such as fish pose. I have a home practice, but when you take somebody else’s class, you find that there are other areas in your body that you do not target on your own. As usual, as I sat down to write down in my journal the things I will be working on today. Without…

Don’t get me wrong, in order for anyone to learn a language, a person has to dedicate years into this endeavor. I can definitely attest to that, since I have gone through the process before. What I liked about this class, was that it was a nice way to learn the letters of the alphabet and how they are pronounced. It also provided homework assignments to practice the writing. Overall it provided me with a new way of…

Morning Motivation
Morning Motivation Some days is hard to find motivation, specially when you have been sick. This is the time where we have to go back to living in the now. We always forget to take care of our body, but sometimes it comes from external factors. How do we go back into the balanced rhythm?

Remembrance
After finishing the yoga teacher training, I can say that one of the best inspirations was to share my practice with 11 amazing people. We had to read a couple of books while we did our training, and one of my favorite ones was Bhagavad-Gita. It is a great place of inspiration.
